Eileen Annette "Leenie" Cahoon
Eileen married Van Clark and more shall be added here from her family. Eileen died at her home, in Virginia, after a valiant battle against cancer. Plans were previously in motion, for a family reunion in 2007, which she was dearly looking forward to attending. Eileen had suggested that the Reunion be held in one of her favorite camping places, the State Park near Crossville, Tennessee. With enduring love, on her birthday, her family and friends gathered from all over the United States, to attend not just a Reunion, but Eileen's Memorial Reunion. There we were called together, by the lilt of a Scottish Bagpiper and the love of family, to nestle her to rest, in the beauty of Tennessee, that now embraces and includes the Beauty of Eileen.
TRIBUTE TO OUR SISTER! THERE WAS SUCH LITTLE TIME, EVEN IF IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A HUNDRED YEARS! YOU MADE ME LAUGH; YOU MADE ME CRY ! BUT MOST OF ALL, YOU MADE ME LOVE YOU! I COULDN'T TELL YOU, GOOD-BYE. I DIDN'T HAVE THE HEART; THINKING OF YOU DAILY; WISHING YOU COULD HAVE STAYED. SO I AM SIMPLY WAITING ................ TO TELL YOU HELLO !! PRAISING GOD WE HAVE THAT ASSURANCE ! LOVE YOU, SIS, AND MISS YOU, TILL WE MEET AGAIN !
The above was lovingly submitted, as tribute, by Eileen's sister, Linda Lee Cahoon Rodriguez, on 20 June 2008. |
