My precious first child,
Now you have a name.
The thought makes my heart go wild,
And allows the hurt to wane.

Shawna Marie is the name we gave,
To the precious child conceived in love.
Little one your life I couldn’t save,
But we’ll be with you in Gods’ heaven above.

Your spark of life within me,
Stayed for much too short a short time,
To raise you together in Heaven,
Will be happiness sublime.

I cannot name the others,
The half siblings you would have had,
The difference is my child,
They didn’t have a Dad.

I hope you know them, up above.
Nourish, love, and help them.
Keep them from all harm
And show All of them, my love.

My child this is my tribute, to you.
Much too short of life you had;
Always know you’re in our hearts,
Signed with love, from Mom and Dad
