Your mother would be so proud today
Yet maybe shed a tear
Being at your graduation now
Your name for all to hear.
Though not with us today
In spirit she does grace
The joyful day before us
Yes, the smile upon your face
Hopes and dreams for you she had
When you were just a girl
Wishing you a life of joy
Happiness as your days unfurl
Be glad for this day
You worked so hard to complete
Let’s celebrate your accomplishment
Yes, its finish is certainly sweet.
Don’t worry about tomorrow
It will have its challenges sure
But all you have behind you
You will be certain to endure.
Take from us today our love
Our admiration too
Keep your hopes and dreams alive
As you your life pursue.
