How and Why

How and Why

Do you know how,
Do you know why,
Where the heavens begin,
Where stops the sky?
Does the earth rotate
To the east; to the west?
Does the sun circle,
Or stay at rest?

Do you take the time to ponder,
What in space is to be sought?
Ever wonder how large or small
Is really our lot?
Maybe it's both,
Life so small, it's out of sight.

Think for a moment
Of God's unending might.
It may be both ways
And we're in the middle.
The answer to life,

Will we solve the riddle?
Think of the stars,
And creatures so small.
Ever wonder why we
Have heard the call. ~ George C. Clements
