In loving Memory Of My Husband

JOHN STEWART,
Who Fell Asleep In Jesus.
6th April, 1894, aged 70 years.
A light is from my household gone,
The voice I loved is still;
A place is vacant at my hearth,
Which Time can never fill.
He shall sleep, but not for ever,
In the lone and silent grave;
Blessed be the Lord who taketh,
Blessed be the Lord who gave.
He shall sleep, but not for ever,
There will be a glorious dawn;
We shall meet, to part - no, never,
On the resurrection morn.
