Who is behind Jezzmo? To be honest, it is I, a puny, incredibly shrinking old lady, weighing less than 90 pounds, driven by genuine interest and desire, for discovery and authentications, regarding my ancestry. Jezzmo is intended to be an heirloom, to be passed along to my descendants, for their care and hopeful committment, to expand upon that which I've started. Hence, though a single person, writing to you in this moment, when it comes to "Jezzmo", the plural "we' shall be applied, to allow for the reality of both, my eventual demise and the contributions made by others.
Also to note, is that this website is intended for pc and laptop access. I am in the process of learning how to make it more versatile, but I am not there yet. Please bear with the old dog, eager to learn new tricks.
You will discover, that Jezzmo may entertain and enjoy, 'family lore', as much as the next guy. You will also note, that we try not to lose sight of our mission. So we will acknowledge 'lore, rumors, and spectulations' as such, should we elect to share them. We will also attempt to validate any 'reasonable hints,' such tales may encourage. Within that context, we have sadly encountered instances, where fellow researchers, for what ever reasons, lack our inclination for transparency and staying on task. Hence, we urge all who share our interest, to be prudently wary; do not believe everything encountered online, in text, in documentaries, or even engraved on tombstones or bronze plaques! We can cite errors to be found, in all of those mediums. The most disappointing of which, are in the case of some, otherwise lovely, memorial plaques.
All of which is to say, that while we will earnestly strive for excellence, we concede to the realty, that we are not infallible. Thus, sincerely welcome feedback, that clarifies, challenges, or corrects any entry presented, by Jezzmo.
