So, once we have the website up and running smoothly, though our own research projects and this website's development will be ongoing, we will upon hire, allocate time spent exclusively on conducting genealogical research, for others. We consider such service, a mutually worthy endeavor. Often folks are interested, in learning more about their ancestors, but circumstantially lack the time and opportunity to focus, in order to pursue that interest. That is both, understandable and common, considering time devoted to work and family, necessarily and rightfully, consumes the greatest parts, of our adult lives.
As to the particulars of that service, whereas we speak only English, we would only research within the USA, Canada, Great Britain, and possibly Australia. Such service would have a base price, premised upon a given time frame or objective, in order to gather as much pertinent data as possible, for our client. We would require email consultations, to not only keep our client apprised of progress, but also to ensure that we are pursuing the actual branches, of our client's family tree. Often similar names can wreak havoc, for researchers, so transparency is vital. The service could include consensual additional fees, should one desire certified copies, of vital statistics. Records of births, marriages, and deaths, are the most common certifications, desired and nice to have, when available. Such extra costs can be handled in one of two ways. If desired, we could obtain the documents and add those fees to the billing. We would discuss the fees, in advance, so there are no surprises. Or, we could save ourselves some time and our clients some upfront expense, by simply providing the details, regarding where those desirable documents could be obtained, by our clients, directly. The choice would be up to our 'temporary boss,' having hired us, for our time and skills.
Another service we may be able to provide, is digital restoration of some old family photos. At present, because of artistic leanings, we use a graphic program, to enhance some of our own photos. It too can be time consuming, but the results can be very rewarding. Fairly, there are several online Artificial Intelligence Services, that will do the same, in much less time. But, in our opinion, they are merely ploys to gather public data, for 'facial recognition' purposes. That may sound far fetched, but hey, it is what it is and worth considering. Those 'AI' programs work for and are deployed by. humans, somewhere, and for reasons not always forthcoming. We at Jezzmo, on the other hand, would be working exclusively for our clients and for their eyes only.
At the end of the contracted time period, we would offer our clients a choice of either, a digital report of our findings, which our client could print out, at their leisure, or we could provide a printed report, which would be more expensive, due to additional time spent and costs of printing.
